Mayolica Ceramics

This type of ceramic, having a Spanish origin, is characterized by a light gray background, with decorations of black, brown, blue, or jade green. The colors are the result of using lead, copper, iron and tin oxides (as well as antimony) which are then fired at high temperatures.
